2014 BILL Season Kicks Off Tonight with Full Slate

The Baltimore Indoor Lacrosse League will open their season tonight at 7:15pm as the Parrot takes on First Mariner in a matchup of veteran teams.
Parrot has plenty of pro experience with former Baltimore Bombers Jordan Kenny, Matt Hickman and Jeff Joy leading the club along with the MLL’s Ohio Machine’s Will Harrington. The Denver Outlaws’ stud defenseman Mike Simon rounds out the team.
First Mariner also hosts some former Bombers with Shawn Nadelen on defense along with 2012 Major League Lacrosse championship weekend MVP Ben Rubeor and Andrew Buggs Combs. Loyola star goaltender Jack Runkel also mans the net along with Loyola’s former Tewaaraton candidate Joe Fletcher on defense.
The second game kicks off at 8:30pm with the always talented Rebel against the rookie team Viper.
Rebel has some star power with New England NLL and Florida Launch transition player Jordan Hall. The 2013 champions bring in Ginny Capicchioni in net as well as one of the top goaltenders in the league.
Viper has former Kentucky Stickhorses and Philadelphia Wings defenseman George Castle along with several rookies to the league. They will get their feet wet in their first game against the champions.
The BILL will have contests every week until December 2nd. The league is the home of dozens of professional and college players.
