MLL Game to be Played in Atlanta

According to Inside Lacrosse, Major League Lacrosse will experiment with a game in Atlanta in the upcoming 2013 season. They will play the game at Kennesaw State. Billy Dee Smith and Andrew Suitor Lose Appeals, Will Miss First Two Games

The National Lacrosse League announced that both Billy Dee Smith of the Buffalo Bandits and Andrew Suitor of the Minnesota Swarm have lost their appeals and will serve two game suspensions to start the 2013 season. Blizzard, Demons and Ironmen Win Pre Season Contests

In Canadian Lacrosse League pre season action yesterday afternoon, we saw wins come from the Barrie Blizzard, Ohsweken Demons and Iroquois Ironmen. The first win came when the Blizzard downed the Durham Turf Dogs by a score of 19-11. Mike Vertolli led the Blizzard with three goals while Mike Teeter had two. Philadelphia Wings forward Jordan Hall will be suspended for the Wings opening game against the Buffalo Bandits next Friday night the league announced. Training Camp Report: Rhode Island Kingfish

Reader Mike Vergano attended Rhode Island Kingfish Training Camp, and was kind enough to send us this report about it. NLL Announces Three Suspensions

The NLL has announced three suspensions that stem from pre season action. All of the suspensions are for one game, however the Professional Lacrosse Players Association is appealing all three of them.
