The Boston Cannons of Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, announced today that Rob Hale has acquired a majority stake in the team. Hale was previously a minority owner in the team. The recent transaction provides Hale with a controlling interest in the Cannons organization and team operations. Today the Vancouver Stealth signed forward Justin Pychal back to their roster after they cut Josh Hawkins. Hawkins made his NLL debut for the Stealth on Saturday against the Colorado Mammoth, where he played in the place of injured defenseman Kyle Sorensen. Pychal was a rookie for the Stealth last season. Athan Iannucci has found a home. Today the Colorado Mammoth have signed the free agent righty forward to a one-year deal. Iannucci had been playing with the Washington Stealth for the past two seasons. Iannucci began his career with the Philadelphia Wings before he was traded to the Edmonton Rush.
