Bradman, Baum Look to Stay on LXM Scoring Streak in San Diego

LXM Pro will host their first event of 2014 tonight when they play in San Diego. Team STX has been red hot lately, led by Sam Bradman and Peter Baum. In their last game, Team STX beat Maverik United in Florida by a score of 19-13.

In that last event Bradman scored five goals while Kyle Harrison put up six points. For Maverik, Erik Krum scored five with a five point game as well from Johnny Christmas. That event was on December 17th, and this event in San Diego precedes a match in Los Angeles taking place in two weeks.

STX’s players of note include Sam Bradman (Minnesota Swarm draft pick), Peter Baum (Ohio Machine draft pick), Kyle Harrison (former MLL player) and Tim Desko (Charlotte Hounds draft pick), who lead the tour in scoring for their team. Maverik is led by Johnny Christmas (former Boston Cannon), Billy Bitter (former MLL player) and Shamel Bratton (former Virginia player).

Bradman’s 32 goals lead the tour but right behind him is Erik Krum of Maverik. STX is averaging 15 goals per game while Maverik is averaging 14, so both teams have been pretty even on the tour. Matt Russell, the STX goalie, broke his hand in the Florida event. However, the goaltender out of Navy should be good to go for this game.

Mark Staines and Brandon Porter were out last game with injuries for Maverik, but they return this week to help goaltender Johnny Rodriguez. Other players of note on STX are Jesse Fehr (former Edmonton Rush), Greg Peyser (former New York Lizard) and Benson Erwin (former Johns Hopkins player).
