Bandits Roster Includes Several New Faces

The Buffalo Bandits have announced their roster for the 2013 season after making several cuts yesterday. Their Injured Reserve has Jamie Rooney, Jordan Critch and Mat Giles to start the season while they have Jimmy Purves on the PUP.

The Practice Squad has rookie Kevin Brownell, Craig England and Derek Hopcroft, whom the Bandits had acquired from Colorado. The roster is below.

Forwards (9): Carter Bender, Nick Cotter, Chad Culp, Mike Hominuck, Tracey Kelusky, John Tavares, Luke Wiles, Shawn Williams and Aaron Wilson.

Transition (6): David Brock, Jon Harasym, Dhane Smith, Hayden Smith, Mark Steenhuis and Jay Thorimbert.

Defensemen (6): Glen Bryan, Michael McNamara, Steve Priolo, Scott Self, Billy Dee Smith and Derek Suddons.

Goalies (2): Anthony Cosmo and Kurtis Wagar.

Billy Dee Smith is on the roster after signing with the Bandits just yesterday. New faces on the team include Wagar, Brock, Bryan, Suddons, Dhane and Hayden Smith, Bender, Cotter, Hominuck, Williams and Wilson.

Returning is Tracey Kelusky after it was questioned if he would make the team. Wagar makes it as the backup goalie after they released Angus Goodleaf yesterday.
