Bandits Sign Priolo for Three Years

Buffalo Bandits General Manager Steve Dietrich today announced the team and defenseman Steve Priolo have agreed to a three-year contract, pending league approval.

“We are thrilled to have Steve re-sign with the Bandits for three years,” Dietrich said. “Steve has proven to be one of the top defenders in the league and his sole focus is to help the Bandits bring the Champions Cup back to Buffalo.”

Drafted by Buffalo in the second round of the 2009 NLL Entry Draft, Priolo has played 69 games for the Bandits, totaling 51 points (12+39) and collecting 275 loose balls.

Priolo was named a finalist for the 2014 NLL defenseman of the year award, and is coming off a season that saw him set career highs in goals (8), assists (18), points (26), loose balls (99) and penalty minutes (65). He also added two points (0+2) and was second on the team with 24 loose balls collected in four playoff games.
