Bayhawks Acquire Peyser from Machine

The Chesapeake Bayhawks just acquired Stephen Peyser and the Ohio Machine will receive the second round draft pick of the 2015 collegiate draft and the first round pick in the Supplemental Draft.

Who really won here?  Bayhawks.

Peyser is a standout midfielder from John Hopkins and six-year veteran of the MLL. He has accumulated playing time in 70 games, and completed 103 goals and 18 assists. Last season, he averaged one goal a game for 13 games with New York.

The midfielder was also recently added to the 52-man roster of Team USA and will compete in the 2014 FIL Word Championships in Denver, CO. He was on the 2010 Gold Medal USA team, as well.

“Stephen has tremendous competitive toughness and is a great teammate,” head coach Dave Cottle stated. “He will be out to prove people wrong this season.”
