Brampton looks for revenge against Barrie

Today in Clax action Brampton travels to Barrie to take on the Blizzard. The Inferno are coming off a12-7 win over the Durham TurfDogs and need to keep their momentum going as they are two points back of the Oshweken Demons for third place in the league. While the Blizzard are playing for pride as they round out their season. The last time these two teams met Barrie notched their first ever franchise win with a hard fought 9-8 victory.

For the Inferno they need to attack early and cannot allow Derek Collins to get comfortable in net for the Blizzard. The Inferno have all the offensive tools they need to break this game open and to create opportunities in the transition game. Look for Ryan Campbell to lead the Inferno offense. If Campbell is able to get going he will open up space for the rest of his team mates and make this a long day for the Blizzard. In net Jay Preece needs to keep up his solid effort as he has bounced back from a rough start to the season. Expect the Inferno to come out motivated after giving Barrie their first ever win.

For Barrie they need to shut down Ryan Campbell. Barrie needs to hold Campbell in check and force other members of the Inferno to make play. Derek Collins play has been improving so if Barrie can play some tight defense in front of him early it will enable him to settle in and get comfortable between the pipes. On offense Barrie will rely on Caleb Wiles to carry the load as he has put this team on his back this year and has given them a chance to win almost every game they have been in. Expect Wiles to have a big game in order for Barrie to win.

In the end lightning will not strike twice and the Inferno will prove why they are the better team as they will outclass Barrie. Expect Ryan Campbell to spread the ball around and for all of Brampton’s offensive weapons to get in on the action. In the end Brampton’s fire power will be too much for Barrie to handle.
