According to reports, Brendan Bomberry of the Six Nations Arrows Jr A team has committed to play college lacrosse with the Denver Pioneers. He will begin play in 2014.
Bomberry tweeted the news this morning. On Inside Lacrosse he was ranked as the fourth best player in the class of 2013.
Bomberry picked up 84 points with the Arrows over the past two seasons. He was being recruited by Loyola, Syracuse and other schools as well but ultimately chose Denver.
Also playing with the Iroquois U19 Team, Bomberry brings a lot of lacrosse experience to Denver. The Pioneers are looking to replace top NLL drafted players Mark Matthews and Alex Demopolous, but will need to wait at least one year to bring in their next top pro prospect.
