Hamilton Nationals attackman Casey Powell will be suspended one game by Major League Lacrosse for a hit he had on the Chesapeake Bayhawks last week.
That means he will be unavailable to the Nationals this weekend when they take on the Rochester Rattlers. This season, Powell has three games, where he has four goals and two assists to add up to six points.
Powell skipped NLL season with the Rochester Knighthawks due to an injury he sustained in the 2011 MLL Championship game against the Boston Cannons.
Powell will still be available for the 2012 MLL All Star game in Florida.
