The Canadian Lacrosse League has announced that they will be holding their draft on Sunday, November 4th.
They will be allowing players drafted into the National Lacrosse League to also be drafted into CLax, something that they did not allow last season. They say this is because they feel like players will have uncertainty anyways.
Commissioner Paul St. John told Inside Lacrosse that the league knows they will lose players to the NLL at times if they do this, but understand that and they are happy to contribute to the development of the players.
The league will also be running two combines on every Sunday until the draft, which will be four weeks.
Players who want to try out and participate in these combines or try outs should contact Jeff Garlin at [email protected] and it costs $20 to participate in one session. Â These try outs will be for an hour and twenty minutes and will be very high tempo.
