The Denver Outlaws acquired some fine young talent during the player pool this past weekend. I asked Outlaws GM Tony Seaman if he would update In Lacrosse We Trust and tell us about the newest members of the Outlaws.
Here’s what he had to say:
“On Sunday March 30th, the Denver Outlaws held an open tryout for any interested lacrosse players who are presently in the MLL “player pool”. As a result of this tryout Denver picked up three more players to add to their roster.
Nick Maggio: A very good face-off midfielder. He was very impressive in the all day tryout in Denver. He convinced Head Coach BJ O’Hara that he was good enough to bring into training camp on April 12th and 13th.
Noah Molnar: A big strong athletic midfielder. He made an outstanding impression on Coach O’Hara and Assistant Coach Jon Cohen. They feel that he could be a factor on the field as a defensive midfielder, and add to the Outlaws’ depth in that department.
Dylan Sheridan: A very good all around midfielder. He has a great lacrosse “IQ” and will also make a good addition to the Outlaws roster. Dylan has excellent quickness, and sees the field as well as any player out there.”
Denver has now added three additional midfielders to their already strong roster. With training camp starting in just one week, and the home-opener set for April 26th, the Outlaws are set to start their season.
