Dolphins Take On Robert Morris

The Dolphins of Jacksonville University men’s lacrosse look to get back on track as they play host to Robert Morris today at D. B. Milne Field.

Dolphins head coach Guy Van Arsdale knows what the Robert Morris Colonials are capable of, “Their style of play is different than most teams we play. They’re a frenetic-type team, they thrive on chaos.”

The colonials ride into town with some momentum coming off their first victory of the season beating Siena 12-10.

Junior attackman for the Dolphins, Tom Moore was named this weeks Offensive player of the week for the SoCon conference. Moore, who totaled six points in a hard fought contest with tenth ranked Marquette over the weekend, had plenty of good things to say about today’s match-up, “They have a lot of Canadians and they’re a team that once they get hot they’re tough to stop.”

Moore has been paying attention in scouting report, Robert Morris has 18 Canadians on the roster (39 players total)

“With their erratic style of play we’ve got to be ready for anything and can’t let their style of play determine how we play.” Moore added.

Robert Morris has played Jacksonville four times in its history, coming out on top in each game, I wouldn’t be surprised if Jacksonville doesn’t turn the tide and notch their first win over Robert Morris this afternoon.

The game was originally scheduled for 3 p.m, BUT has been moved to a 1 pm Faceoff AND the game will be aired on ESPN3!! Live stats can be found of schools athletic websites.
