Five Players to Watch in NLL Week Two

Week two of the NLL season is almost here, and we saw a lot of players step up last week. Who will be on their game this week?

1. Ben McIntosh F Edmonton 1st Overall Pick, Rookie, natural hat trick in first career game, will help Edmonton in much needed situations as he did this past weekend.

2. Miles Thompson F Minnesota Rookie, hat trick in first career game, welcomed by the local natives from Minnesota and one of the most energizing players to watch. Has an incredible career ahead of him.

3. Evan Kirk G New England I cannot even begin t tell you how incredible Kirk played on opening night for the Black Wolves. 50 saves and ending with a .862 save percentage. It was as if he were playing in the final game of the Champions Cup. Can’t wait to see how well he does in their next contest.

4. Rhys Duch F Vancouver Mr. Momentum. Scored one goal every quarter, especially when they needed it. Toronto’s defense better be on their toes.

5. Shawn Evans F Calgary 6 assists and 2 goals in the season opener. Has led the NLL in assists the past two years and he seems to be off for a threepeat.
