Hellyer Moved to Active Roster

ROB HELLYER MOVED TO ACTIVE ROSTER
Brandon Benn Moved To Injured Reserve With Lower Body Injury

Oakville, ON – When Toronto Rock forward Rob Hellyer went down with an upper body injury on March 21st against the Edmonton Rush, he was on pace to break the NLL’s single season scoring record and finish the season with somewhere around 127 points.

The NLL veteran, in his 5th season with the Rock, has been moved to the active roster in time for Friday’s regular season finale against the New England Black Wolves. This means he’ll be available to play his first game in almost 6 weeks when the Rock try and lock up the number one overall seed with a win over the Black Wolves.

Moving to the Injured Reserve is rookie forward Brandon Benn who has been sidelined with a lower body injury.

Friday night’s game against the New England Black Wolves is a 7:00pm start at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. Fans can watch live on TSN GO and TSN.ca.
