How Team USA is Affecting NLL Camps

Playing for your nation is a supreme honor, one that isn’t offered very often. Therefore, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that as the NLL preseason begins and teams start their training camps, that some players are missing or will miss time in the future.

Below are the teams that will be missing players who are also still in the running to be selected for Team USA. There are 52 players left from the original poll of 90 and things could change late in the season with the roster dwindling down even further.

Philadelphia Wings

Brendan Mundorf

Rob Pannell

Ned Crotty

Paul Rabil

Max Seibald

Tucker Durkin

Kyle Hartzell

Kyle Sweeney

Toronto Rock

Eric Law

Minnesota Swarm

Mitch Belisle

Colorado Mammoth

WashingtoDrew Westerveltn Stealth

Drew Snider

Clearly, the team that will be impacted the most will be the Wings. Out of the present 52-man roster, the Wings have nine players that will be having a timeshare commitment as they try and represent Team USA in July later this year. Specifically, the Wings offense will take a hit as Crotty, Mundorf and Rabil combined for 132 points last season.
