Last night in the WLA the Maple Ridge Burrards hosted the Nanaimo Timbermen. The Burrards had second-year goalie Carson Michaud in net while Nanaimo looked towards Zach Boychuk in net. The Timbermen got off to a fast start as Blake Kenny opened the scoring with a blazing shot from the outside that beat Michaud.
