Heacock, Jones Lewnes record hat-tricks in Bayhawks victory. This past Saturday, July 7th, the Chesapeake Bayhawks (8-2) defeated the New York Lizards (5-6) 16-13 to move within a half game of first place Dallas. The Duke Blue Devils took down the defending NCAA champion Maryland Terrapins 13-8 on May 26th to earn the right to play for the championship, which they subsequently lost to the Yale Bulldogs. The Yale Bulldogs defeated the Albany Great Danes 20-11 on Saturday, May 26th at Gillette Stadium in the first semi-final of the NCAA lacrosse championships. Matt Gaudet led Yale with six goals while Ben Reeves contributed five goals and four assists. Connor Fields had three goals and two assists to lead Albany. Yale faces Duke for the championship today.
