MLL Roster Review: Charlotte Hounds

April 7, 2015

With the 2015 MLL season starting this weekend, the teams have announced their final 25 man rosters. Unfortunately, 19 of the 25 listed will only be allowed to dress. For the first time since the start of his career in 2011, Adam Ghitelman will not start between the pipes for Charlotte, nor will he dawn a Hounds uniform. Other top players in the league that are unable to put on…

The Mess of the Ivy League

April 7, 2015

Ivy League The Ivy League is a mess once again. Entering last week, Cornell and Brown looked like the only two teams that had a clear advantage over the rest of the conference. Harvard appeared like it was dead in the water and Princeton was losing ground fast. Fast forward to Sunday, Harvard beat Cornell in Cambridge and Brown lost to Penn. Princeton continued to slide with a loss at…

NCAA Power Rankings: April 6

April 6, 2015

The rankings this week had a large amount of self-contained insanity.  Just about every team from last week’s top 5 and last 5 all won, with seemingly everyone in between losing.  This meant that I didn’t drop anyone this week, but there was plenty of shuffling.   Oh, and the Patriot and Ivy Leagues continue to baffle me.     Records and scores are including games from April 5. 1        Maryland        Record:…
