The tryouts for the USA Men’s National team start today and the 98 player pool selected has already shrunk. Most recently, Casey Powell has withdrawn his name from contention after helping the Chesapeake Bayhawks to their fifth MLL title. Powell Withdraws From US National Team Tryouts

After “retiring” from Major League Lacrosse after the 2012 season, the Chesapeake Bayhawks went ahead and picked up Casey Powell in the supplemental draft. Besides the Mark Millon pick, this was the other shocking move made by a team during the draft.
