Major League Lacrosse Power Rankings

It is the last week of the Major League Lacrosse regular season, and we bring you our last power rankings before the playoffs.

1. Denver Outlaws- The Outlaws have a chance to finish in first place in the league if they can beat the Bayhawks this week, and I feel like the Outlaws are the most dengerous team in the league.

2. Chesapeake Bayhawks- The Bayhawks could also finish in first if they are able to defeat Denver. They have had a great season and deserve this ranking of number two.

3. Long Island Lizards- The Lizards just need a win to get into the playoffs, and I feel of the Lizards, Cannons and Rattlers, Long Island could make the most noise.

4. Boston Cannons- Boston just needs to defeat the last place Ohio Machine to get into the playoffs. They should be able to do this, and if they can’t, then they don’t deserve the playoffs anyways.

5. Rochester Rattlers- Rochester has been a surprise this season, but they need a lot to go right to get in. Overall, this season can be marked as a success going into 2013.

6. Charlotte Hounds- The Hounds stumbled out of the gate but I feel they carried themselves well and picked up a few good late wins. Another one this week and they could play major spoiler.

7. Ohio Machine- A bad season overall for Ohio, but as an expansion team, you have to give them a pass for that.

8. Hamilton Nationals- Probably the most disappointing team in the league this season. They went to the Championship last year and big things were expected from them as a young roster.
