The Colorado Mammoth added an additional defenseman to their roster today when they signed Dan Ball. Ball has spent his last two seasons with the Minnesota Swarm but was cut after this year’s training camp.
To make room for him on the roster, the Mammoth released defenseman Chet Koneczky and placed him on their practice roster. They also signed former Buffalo Bandit Mike McNamara to their practice roster.
Ball has spent his entire career with the Swarm. He has nine career points, four of which came from last season, and he has one career goal from the 2012 season. Ball also has 53 career loose balls and is a left handed shooter out of Ontario.
Meanwhile, McNamara is a 6’2 lefty defenseman who has been with the Bandits for the last two seasons, the only seasons of his career. He has four career points, none of which are goals, and 35 career loose balls.
