Deckelbaum’s Thoughts:
I have played field lacrosse since I was 6 years old. I wish box
lacrosse was around when I was growing up, but I did not have the
chance to play until I graduated from UD in 2007 and played for USA
developmental team. Since then I have played consistently at the
highest level I could find. It’s great to see the new pro box leagues
like the NALL or PLL and programs like Nxt Lacrosse and the
Philadelphia Box Lacrosse Championship (tournament for high school
teams with full box rules) grow the game. I grew up going to Johns
Hopkins and Baltimore Thunder games. I can’t wait to play for a
professional organization like the Baltimore Bombers run by Hunter
Francis in my hometown this Winter.
