We finally stopped the losing streak and started playing as a team again! Charlotte is a very difficult team to match up against because they have a tremendously talented roster, and while though their record might not show it, they are going to gel soon and be a tough team to stop. We went into Charlotte riding a 2 game losing streak, so it was a delicate situation to make sure we put a good game together to break that streak.
Trying to get back to the way we played at the beginning of the season, our focus was on playing together and taking care of the ball. I think we did a great job of that, particularly in the second half, and both our offense and defense played great to help us get a much needed win.
This trip to Charlotte was also my first time visiting the city, and it is a place I look forward to revisiting. The city was modern, clean, young, and fun. Looking forward to a great new franchise in a great city for years to come!
