MILA Week Five Recap: Three Games Postponed, Cleveland Wins?

In a very weird week in the Midwest Indoor Lacrosse Association, three games were postponed and one team won via forfeit. The Cleveland Demons were set to take on the Detroit Coney Dogs, but the Demons ended up winning 1-0 due to Detroit forfeiting.

Meanwhile, the game between Southern Ohio Box Lacrosse and the Grand Rapids Dragonfish was already postponed before the week began. However, two more games ended up being postponed for later dates.

The Minnesota Jaxx and Chicago Outlaws were set to face off but the game was postponed. The other game postponed was the Pittsburgh Octane against the Columbus Lacrosse Club, a game that would have been important in the Mid-States Division.

There are four games scheduled for next week. I was told the game between Chicago and Minnesota was postponed because the Jaxx had only five players available for the game.

Next week, Grand Rapids is scheduled to play Pittsburgh as the most important game of the week, while Minnesota is scheduled to travel to Milwaukee to play the Marauders.
