MLL Checkin: Chesapeake Bayhawks

After starting the season 3-0, the Chesapeake Bayhawks lost their first game of the season on Saturday to the Boston Cannons

The Boston Cannons earned their first win of the season in a nail biting back and forth match on Saturday night at Harvard Stadium against the Bayhawks. The Cannons earned their first win of the season in overtime with Player of the Game Ryan Boyle scoring the game winner and snapping the Bayhawks’ winning streak along the way.

The next Bayhawks have an off week this coming weekend making their next game on Saturday, June 1 at home against the Hamilton Nationals. The Nationals have also started their season 3-0 like the Bayhawks did and are now on a four game road trip and the second game being in Annapolis against the Bayhawks, a great situation for the Bayhawks to get back on track and grab a victory.

With the stellar play of Kyle Dixon and Ben Ruebor this season, the Bayhawks will have great chances week in and week out to secure victories, starting June 1 at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis.
