One of the most highly touted prospects for the 2012 NLL draft is defender Brock Sorensen out of Ohio State.
Sorensen played midfield with the Buckeyes for four years. He was the team captain for his last three years with the program.
He has missed the entire summer box lacrosse season after tearing his ACL and MCL playing for Ohio State. He was on the roster of the Peterborough Lakers of Major Series Lacrosse.
Sorensen has said before he will be ready for NLL training camp this December no matter what team picks him. He played his Junior A box lacrosse with the Junior Lakers for two years before being traded to the Orangeville Northmen.
He will remain on the Lakers roster for next summer season to play in MSL. He is expected to be a high pick this NLL season, but the injury could have set him back. The Minnesota Swarm have been eyeing him for a long time, and they have stocked up their first round draft picks.
