Nationals Sign Four From Player Pool

The Hamilton Nationals signed four players from the MLL player pool last night after the Supplemental Draft last week.

They signed Matt Vinc, who is a goaltender with the NLL’s Rochester Knighthawks but in MLL is a defender. Vinc has played six games in his MLL career, including his last four in 2011. He has never scored a point, but he has four career penalty minutes.

They also picked up Greg Rogowski, who is looking good to make the Philadelphia Wings squad in 2013 and is a member of the QSLL Vermont Voyageurs. He played in one game with the Rochester Rattlers last season with one goal.

Hamilton also picked up goaltender Brent Herbst, who was on the roster last season as the third goalie. Lastly, they signed Tim DeBlois who has played one season in MLL. The defense saw six games of action with Rochester in 2011 in which he registered no points but did pick up five ground balls.
