Both Providence and Quinnipiac have been dominating the field this season; their record proves that each of these teams are hard to beat. Providence has little success last year with stopping Quinnipiac, this year should be different.

Junior attack Sean Wright is a key factor for their victories, he leads the Friars in scoring with 18 points on thirteen goals and five assists. Providence needs to keep Quinnipiac from using their speed and slowing down the game.
Quinnipiac thus year is having a sensational year. This year they had added 12 newcomers into this organization and look at what they have accomplished. Sophomore Michael SagI has been a great asset for this team. He leads the Bobcats in scoring with fourteen points on six goals and eight assist. Their defense has stepped up to the plate as well. Goalie Gill Conners has played outstanding and owns a .641 save percentage. Conners have recorded 41 saves and allowed 23 goals for a 7.67 goal against average.
Quinnipiac needs to stay consistent with getting turnovers. They will kill you every time they have the chance of making a turnover. Providence needs to be physical with this team, last year they had fell to Quinnipiac because of timely mistakes. This game will come down to who will execute better.
