NLL Prospect Profile: Cody Bremner

Drafted 8th overall. Victoria, British Columbia native Cody Bremner is looking to crack the Vancouver stealthʼs roster this season. Selected in the first round (8th overall) of the 2013 NLL Entry Draft the right hander has the confidence of the Stealth with good reason. Cody plays for the Nanaimo Timbermen in the Western Lacrosse Association where in 2012 was selected as the WLA top rookie after scoring 69 points (24 goals, 45 assists)…2013 in Nanamio scored 54 points (28 goals, 26 assists).

Looking to build from his WLA experience he enters camp with confidence. Cody Bremner has been described as one of a kind. Workmanlike, ambitious, hungry and disciplined, Bremner possesses every skill set to succeed. The biggest plight which plagues most young guns in the NLL is the discipline and determination that goes along with being a professional athlete.

Quite frankly Cody is poised to have a successful camp joining Victoria Shamrocks teammates Lewis Ratcliff, Rhys Duch on offense and the kid can score! be excited…. very excited! The stealth’s offense is one of the best in the league. Homegrown Talent will show that there is a special advantage in Vancouver this year. A homegrown talent base that looks to repeat as NLL finalists. Bremner should add some youth and exuberance to the right side.
