NLL Radar: Keep Eyes on JGJ, Ward and Thompson

John Grant Jr – with the OT winner last weekend, he has helped the Mammoth stampede their way to victory. One of the most talented players ever to pick up a lacrosse stick, viewers will be in store for a show.

Dillon Ward – what can you say about Dillon other than “brick wall”. Yeah, he let in some shots he should have saved against Calgary but that happens with any goalie. He helped Colorado keep the Roughnecks at bay and will try to do the same against Edmonton.

Evan Kirk – He’s been outstanding between the pipes for the Black Wolves. Takes charge of his defense and sees the ball very well. He will be key if New England wants to go 3-0.

Miles Thompson – What can you say about him? Talented, understands the game different than anyone else, maybe except for his family. You can’t say he’s young because he plays like a vet. I’m excited to see what he does this weekend versus New England.

Ryan Benesch – has 16 points already in his first two games and is tied for first on Buffalo in points. Working with Tavares, Thompson and Steinhaus, he has an arsenal surrounding him. Look for him to tally another 7-9 points in this weeks matchup.
