With the Champions Cup next week between the Rochester Knighthawks and Washington Stealth her are your three stars from the Division Finals.
3. Matt Vinc: The Knighthawks goalie stepped for his team this weekend as he was able to keep his composure throughout the game and never got frustrated despite the Swarm staging multiple comebacks. Vinc made 25 saves on 35 shots on goal and posted 10.00 GAA. If it was not for Vinc strong play the Knighthawks would not be in the final.
2. Athan Iannucci- Iannucci was stellar for the Stealth this week as he helped power the team’s offense with his three goal and four assist night. Iannucci proved why he is such a valuable member of the Stealth’s offense and the Knighthawks will need to watch out for him in the final.
1. Curtis Dickson- Dickson had one hell of a game on the weekend despite the Roughnecks falling short against the Stealth. Dickson kept his team in this game with his seven goals and one assist. If it was not for Dickson’s strong individual performance the game between the Stealth and the Roughneck would not have been as close. Dickson stepped up when his team needed him but unfortunately they were overcome by the Stealth 14-13.
