This Saturday, the hot Oregon Ducks take on the struggling Temple University in NCAAW weekend lacrosse action. This will be the third straight road game for Oregon, and could potentially put them 3-0 on the season. Conversely, Temple will be playing their third home game of the season, but winning this game would mean notching a “W” for the first time since Week 1, when they defeated Saint Joseph’s at home.
Both offensively and defensively, Oregon has been incredibly consistent. Since the start of the regular season, the Ducks have outscored their opponents 40-6, posting identical final scores of 20-3. Temple on the other hand has had more goals scored against them (31) than for them (24). If they want to play along with Oregon, they will have to pay special attention to their defense. Keeping their opponent from scoring a high number should be their first priority.
Saturday’s game will be this Saturday, March 1 at 1 pm at Geasey Field.
