On December 19, 2025, the Oshawa FireWolves held their first teddy bear toss at Tribute Communities Centre.

Oshawa started the game hot, leading 4-1 after the first period. The teddy bear toss was supposed to be after the FireWolves’s first goal in the second period, but it was Vancouver scoring the only goal in a quiet frame, postponing the toss to after halftime.

Taggart Clark scored the teddy bear goal just 1:49 into the half, with fans chucking 2327 stuffed animals onto the floor in support of Lakeridge Health.

Unfortunately, the FireWolves couldn’t hang on to the lead. Vancouver scored six in a row following Taggart’s goal. Ethan Walker got a late one but the Warriors took the win 8-6.
