Rock Sign Billings. Release Evans; Knighthawks Make Moves

Today the National Lacrosse League continued making moves today as the Toronto Rock signed forward Garrett Billings for one year while releasing forward Scott Evans. Toronto also released Eric Pitre, Bradley Kiri and Alex Lubczuk.

Meanwhile, the Rochester Knighthawks signed goaltender Mike Thompson, creating an even more interesting goalie situation. Matt Vinc is their obvious starter but behind him they have Angus Goodleaf and now Thompson after they released Ian Duffy a few days ago. Goodleaf was recently placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list.

The eastern conference had a big day of making moves with the Buffalo Bandits also releasing rookie Kevin Pym and Dwight Bero. In other moves, the Calgary Roughnecks signed Andrew McBride for two years while the Colorado Mammoth released Carter Bender, Jarett Park, Patrick O’Meara, Dan Lewis, Dom Sebastiani, and Cody McMahon while signing Cameron Mann.
