Last night the Kentucky Stickhorses signed forward Chazz Woodson to their roster. Woodson had a great MLL season this summer with the Ohio Machine and is one of the biggest names in pro lacrosse.
Woodson made his return back to pro lacrosse this summer with the expansion Ohio and was a regular on the ESPN top 10 plays each week. He scored 24 goals and 38 points with the Machine in 2012.
Over his career, Woodson has played in MLL with Long Island, Boston, Los Angeles and Chicago. He has 126 career points with his most coming in this season for Ohio.
He will be joining his Ohio team mates Stefan Schroeder and Greg Bice, along with Anthony Kelly who was traded to Denver mid season.
Woodson has also played in the LXM Pro Tour in his career, but he has never before played indoor lacrosse. He will add a new element to offense to help a team that has lost some offensive pieces they did not expect.
Stay tuned for more updates on the signing.
