The Boston Rockhoppers picked up their first win of the North American Lacrosse League season with a 10-9 victory over the Kentucky Stickhorses, repeating their performance when they defeated them to close out last season. Goaltender Nick Schroeder led the Rockhoppers with 40 saves in the win to counter the 37 saves from losing goaltender Spencer Lyons. Kentucky had 49 shots on goal to the Boston 47. Last night the Kentucky Stickhorses signed forward Chazz Woodson to their roster. Woodson had a great MLL season this summer with the Ohio Machine and is one of the biggest names in pro lacrosse. Woodson made his return back to pro lacrosse this summer with the expansion Ohio and was a regular on the ESPN top 10 plays each week. He scored 24 goals and 38 points with the Machine…

Once again the Chicago Outlaws are taking their game outside of the MILA. This summer the team will be playing two games against the USIL Developmental Team at the Sears Centre, just outside of Chicago.
