The Case of Kevin Croswell

Kevin Croswell is an interesting goaltender. He backed up Nick Patterson in Minnesota for a few years. Then it looked like he would be getting his shot when he was traded to Edmonton.

However, the Rush also traded for Aaron Bold from Rochester, and he took the job and performed with flying colors. Crowell would be cut as they opted to go with Brodie MacDonald as their backup.

After being released, Croswell signed on to back up Tyler Richards with the Washington Stealth. He started and played two full games with them. First he played sixty minutes and defeated the Toronto Rock and gave up just nine goals on fifty shots.

In the second game he played 58 minutes and lost, but gave up just ten goals on forty two shots. However in the first game against Toronto, he won game MVP of the night.

Croswell is under contract to play in Washington. Recently Washington has also signed Chris Seidel, and the goalie market in the NLL is a very tight one with just nine teams.

Croswell could start on some NLL teams, but where will his next opportunity be? With the Stealth, or somewhere else?
