Toth Added to Riggers Scouting Staff

The Calgary Roughnecks have announced the addition of Kaleb Toth as Western Scout. Toth, a Calgary native and member of the Roughnecks from 2002-12, will join area scouts Duane Bratt (Alberta Amateur Scout), Neil Doddridge (Western Scout), Ryan Williams (Western Scout) and Brian Beisel (Eastern Scout).

“We are happy to have Kaleb working in the organization, he brings plenty of knowledge and passion to the table,” said Roughnecks general manager Mike Board. “As a coach in the Western Lacrosse Association, he has an intimate knowledge of players in western Canada which is a valuable commodity for us.”

Toth, who retired in December 2012, was an integral member of the Roughnecks for 11 seasons. The four-time NLL all-star (2002, 2004, 2005 and 2006) set regular-season franchise records for goals (274), assists (354), points (628) and game-winning goals (15). On March 2, 2013, Toth became the first inductee in the “Forever A Roughneck” program, a distinction that recognizes his contributions to the game of lacrosse both on the floor and in the Calgary community.

“I’m excited to continue my involvement with the Roughnecks family,” Toth said. “I look forward to working with management and coaches to continue to bring new lacrosse talent to the organization.”
