Costabile appeared in 13 games in his rookie season and added some youth and speed to the transition game for the Wings. Costabile picked up 45 loose balls, and won 40.4% of face-offs in his rookie campaign. During last seasons rookie camp, Costabile caught the attention of the coaches which earned him an invitation to camp with the veterans, and his determination continued there as well as he made the coaches decision very easy to place him on the roster.
Eric Hoffman, a local product from Sellersville, PA, has spent the last two seasons battling injuries. Hoffman spent last season on the IR. In 2012 Hoffman appeared in 7 games during the 2012 season and was a force on defense making it tough for the opposition to get near the goal.
Hoffman hopes to stay healthy for the 2014 season to show what he can do in the NLL. Wings hope for a healthy Hoffman so he can strengthen the defensive core.
