WLA Sees Trade Action

The Western Lacrosse Association saw their share of trades yesterday, and we’re here to wrap it up and explain what went down.Coquitlam Adanacs

The Adanacs made most of the moves yesterday. They sent Jon Harnett to the Victoria Shamrocks and Jimmy Delaney to the Nanaimo Timbermen. From the Timbermen they added Mike Berekoff and Ryan Keith. They picked up a second round pick for Harnett.

According to reports, the Adanacs also shipped Nick Rose, Dane Dobbie and Damon Edwards to the Langley Thunder form Matt McGrooty and Brandon Goodwin and two draft picks. They also released Ross Halliday as Travis Irving and Steve McKinley return from the IR.

Nanaimo Timbermen

They traded away Berekoff and Keith to Coquitlam so they could add Jimmy Delaney.

Langley Thunder

The Thunder decided to make a huge trade yesterday, according to reports, picking up top scorer Dane Dobbie and goaltender Nick Rose along with Damon Edwards.

Burnaby Lakers

The Lakers added a 9th round pick in the 2014 draft in return for Ryan Lachlan.

New Westminster Salmonbellies

Lachlan was sent to the Bellies for their 9th rounder in 2014.

Victoria Shamrocks

Traded for Jon Harnett from the Coquitlam Adanacs.
