Major Series Lacrosse Back to 20 Game Schedule

In 2011, Major Series Lacrosse played a 20 game schedule, and reports indicate they will be back to that for the 2013 season. UMass-Lowell to Add Lacrosse Program

Yesterday, the UMass-Lowell Riverhawks announced they would be going division one in all sports (they only had division one hockey). Today, they announced they would be adding men’s and women’s lacrosse to their program, also in division one. They will be joining the America East Conference. Both CLax Games Cancelled Friday

Both Canadian Lacrosse League games taking place tonight have been cancelled due to inclement weather in the north east. The league released this statement this morning. Due to severe weather the Canadian Lacrosse League has cancelled both scheduled games for Friday February 8. Tavares Out Again for Bandits

On the NLL weekly coaches-media call yesterday, head coach Darris Kilgour said that team captain and 22 year veteran John Tavares will miss his second straight game due to a hamstring injury.
