The debut of Israel’s men’s national lacrosse team in the European Lacrosse Championships came to an end, as No. 8 Netherlands rolled to an 18-3 quarterfinal win at Amsterdam Bos on Wednesday. Netherlands grabbed an early 2-0 lead, but Elan Daisudov and Ben Bretter answered back for Israel to tie the game at 2-2. RIP Chris Sanderson

This morning at 2:00am Canadian lacrosse goalie Chris Sanderson passed away from his battle with brain cancer. Sanderson took a turn for the worse this Thursday after battling the disease for four years. Most people diagnosed with this are given a life expectancy of a year at the most. The Israel men’s national lacrosse team earned a berth into the quarterfinals of the European Lacrosse Championships with a 14-13 win over No. 11 Wales at Amsterdam Bos on Sunday.
