The Colorado Mammoth announced today that Dan Coates, the first defenseman selected in the 2011 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft, has signed a one-year agreement to return to the organization for the 2013 season, pending league approval. The Washington Stealth has released its schedule of preseason activities, as the team prepares for the 2013 National Lacrosse League season. The preseason schedule begins with a Tryout Camp on November 17 and 18 and continues with four training camp weekends in December. The National Lacrosse League has implemented a new standardized concussion testing protocol for its players to be used by medical personnel at all NLL games. At any time during the season, any player suspected of having incurred a concussion in a game or practice will be given immediate concussion testing by appropriate personnel.
