Bandits Sign First Pick Brandon Goodwin

Buffalo Bandits General Manager Steve Dietrich today announced the team has agreed to terms on one-year contracts with Brandon Goodwin, Cody McMahon and Rance Vigneux.

With Goodwin’s signing, the Bandits have now agreed to terms with all five of their 2014 draft picks.

Selected with the ninth overall pick in the NLL Draft last month, Goodwin played for Adelphi University last season and notched 26 points (19+7) in 17 games. The transition player also chipped in 27 points (16+11) in 15 games for Coquitlam of the Western Lacrosse Association this summer.

McMahon was drafted by the Colorado Mammoth in the fourth round (31st overall) of the 2013 NLL Draft. The forward started the season on the Colorado practice squad before being released.

Vigneux, a goalie, went 4-10 with a 10.71 goals-against average in 14 games last season between the Toronto Beaches and the Burlington Chiefs.
