Cleveland Demons Destroy Southern Ohio

The Cleveland Demons of the MILA hosted Southern Ohio Box Lacrosse in Southern Ohio’s first MILA road game.  Cleveland’s superior numbers spelled the story of the game.  The Demons threw over 20 runners at Southern Ohio’s meager 8 and ran out to an 18 goal leadd before Southern Ohio’s Phil Hardy responded with a single goal at the close of the 1st half.

Halftime rest and adjustments helped Southern Ohio hold in better to start the second half.  Hardy added an additional 2 goals to Cleveland’s 3 in the quarter.  Fatigue caught up again in the fourth quarter as Cleveland added another 5 to close out the game.  Cleveland ended the game as decisive winners 26-3.
Offensive player Nate Rothchild assisted on 2 of Phil Hardy’s 3 goals for Southern Ohio.  Andy Routt played his first MILA game in goal for Southern Ohio making countless saves for Southern Ohio despite Cleveland’s dominance.
Southern Ohio Box Lacrosse is in action next Saturday, August 25th on the road in Detroit.
