Custodes, Deutschland Adler Tie in Round One Tournament

The first European Lacrosse League tournament is in the books with the Custodes and Duetschland Adler taking six points each to land on top.Both the Custodes and Deutschland Adler finished 2-1 while the Wolves and Pietro Filipi finished at 1-2 with three points each. On day one Deutschland Adler defeated the Wolves 11-6. Game two was between the Custodes and Pietro Filipi with the Custodes taking it 7-5. Radek Skala scored six of the Custodes goals while Sean Gibson scored three for Pietro Filipi.

Later on, the Wolves defeated the Custodes 10-9 and Pietro Filipi was downed by Deutschland Adler 9-7. Gibson scored three goals again for Pietro Filipi while Klaus Hauer also netted a hat trick. Jamie Plunkett scored three times for Deutschland Adler and Pavel Dosley scored five times. Dosley is a former NLL player.

On day two we saw two matchups; the Wolves vs Pietro Filipi and Deutschland Adler against the top Custodes. Pietro Filipi picked up a 8-6 win while the Custodes topped Deutschland Adler 9-8.

Sean Gibson and Klauss Hauer led the tournament with ten points each. Radek Skala had seven and in fourth was Pavel Dosley with six. The next tournament is September 21st in Radotin.
