Denver Game Against Air Force Moved to 10 a.m. Saturday

Sunday’s games moved to Air Force’s Holaday Athletic Center                       

DENVER – The [1/1] University of Denver men’s lacrosse game against Air Force on Saturday has been moved to 10 a.m. MT, and will now be the first game of the 2015 Frontier Airlines Faceoff Classic due to the forecasted snowstorm to hit Denver Saturday. Canisius and Furman, a game that was originally scheduled to be played at 11 a.m. MT, has been moved to 12:30 p.m. (or 30 minutes following previous game).

Sunday’s games have been moved to Air Force, and will faceoff at 11 a.m. (Air Force vs. Canisius) and 1:30 p.m. MT (Denver vs. Furman) as originally scheduled.  Due to facility restrictions at the Holaday Athletic Center, fans and media will not be permitted to attend Sunday’sgames.

Saturday’s Denver vs. Air Force game will still stream live on Pioneer Vision with Tyler Maun and Devin Farrell. DU’s Saturday morning game will no longer be on 105.5 ESPN due to the time change. Sunday’s game against Furman will not have the originally scheduled radio or TV coverage due to facility restrictions. Fans can follow along on Twitter Sunday by following @DU_MLAX.

Fans with tickets to Sunday’s games can exchange their ticket for either one ticket to Saturday’s Frontier Airlines Faceoff Classic games, or one ticket to either game in the Denver hockey series against Miami (Ohio) on Feb. 27 or 28, based on availability. Fans must bring the ticket to the Ritchie Center Box Office during normal business hours of M-F from 9 a.m. -5 p.m. to exchange. The box office will open at 8:30 a.m.on Saturday.

Denver’s hockey game against CC (7:06 p.m.) at Magness Arena, and its gymnastics meet Saturday (6 p.m.) at Hamilton Gymnasium are still on schedule for their slated start times. Check DenverPioneers.com and du.edu for further updates on all of this weekend’s events.
