Gryphons and Badgers Pick Up Wins

The Guelph Gryphons and Trent Excalibur opened up the 2012 Baggataway Cup weekend last night in Peterborough, Ontario. The Gryphons hopped out to a 4-1 lead in the first quarter and it was all Gryphs from then on. Senior Connor Deuchars found the back of the net three times and added two helpers for a solid five point night. Former Adrian College Bulldog Tyler Tanquay and Jordan Hill each netted a hatrick while leading the way for the Excalibur.
