Israel Will Face New York Lizards

Ari Sussman, who led the world in scoring at the FIL World Lacrosse Championships, headlines Team Israel’s roster for a pair of exhibition games later this month against the New York Lizards of Major League Lacrosse, and New York Athletic Club, which is widely recognized as the top club team in the nation.

The March 27-29 event, which also features the Israel women’s national team in exhibition play against NYAC, plus boys and girls U-19, U-14 and Masters teams representing Israel, is being held in support of the launch of the inaugural season of the Israel Premier Lacrosse League (IPLL), which faces off this summer in the Jewish State.

The Lizards, who recently acquired two-time MLL MVP Paul Rabil in a blockbuster deal with the Boston Cannons, are preparing for their season opener on April 12th against the Ohio Machine.

NYAC, winners of the national championship in seven of the last nine years, are coming off back-to-back undefeated seasons.

Admission to all games are free and open to the public. Players and attendees are encouraged to donate lightly-used sticks, helmets, goggles, and protective gear to our equipment drive, which is being conducted in support of the growth of youth lacrosse programs in cities across Israel. Free t-shirts will be given to those who bring the most equipment.
